According to the News Agency of Nigeria NAN, over 400 Nigerian and foreign artistes have registered to perform at the Felabration 2019, which is to take place between October 14 and 20 at the New Afrika Shrine at Ikeja, Lagos.
Founded by Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s daughter Yeni, Felabration has become a phenomenon that has grown from music and dance to become a custodian of African culture, history, entertainment and education.
Now an annual festival to honour and celebrate Fela’s music and his philosophical beliefs, this year’s theme is ‘From Lagos with Love.’
